Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for ambulatory neurology patients under the supervision of multiple neuro providers
- Perform focused nursing assessments and monitor neurological status, reporting changes promptly
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration and patient responses in the EMR
- Assist with neurology procedures, as needed, and coordinate care plans with the care team
- Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, safety, and follow-up instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient clinic flow and continuity of care
Requirements
- Current, active RN license in Pennsylvania (or eligible to practice in PA)
- Ambulatory care experience required; neurology ambulatory care experience preferred
- EPIC or similar EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital-based ambulatory care environment
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN)
- Must be able to meet onboarding and compliance timelines, including pre-employment screenings
