Program: MPAC – Long-Term Psychiatric Care for Older Adults
The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Psychiatric / Behavioral Health nursing team on the night shift. This position is based at our MPAC facility at 4001 Ford Road, which specializes in long-term psychiatric and behavioral health care for older adults with serious mental illness (SMI).

As a Psychiatric Nurse (Night Shift RN), you will:
Deliver high-quality psychiatric and behavioral health nursing care in a long-term residential setting
Conduct health and psychiatric assessments and implement individualized care plans
Respond to crises and support safe de-escalation practices
Supervise and support Behavioral Health Technicians overnight
Provide leadership in therapeutic interventions and serve as Charge Nurse when assigned
Accurately document all patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and interdisciplinary staff to address patient needs
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and LTC standards
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
Active Pennsylvania RN license and BLS/CPR certification
3–5 years of nursing experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, long-term care, substance use treatment, or dual-diagnosis settings
Experience with geriatric or inpatient rehab populations preferred
Must meet requirements under Pennsylvania’s Older Adults Protective Services Act (Act 169)
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
