Position Overview

The Physician Care Liaison serves as a pivotal connector between Lumora Clinic Services and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the psychiatric field, fostering strong relationships to support our network of Lumora Clinics. This role involves managing 4-6 clinics, coordinating KOL engagement in educational and strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication and compliance with Lumora’s standards. The position is remote, with quarterly travel to managed clinics, offering an opportunity to make a tangible impact on patient care and clinician success.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture trusted relationships with KOLs, addressing inquiries promptly and fostering collaboration to advance Lumora’s mission.
  • Activity Coordination: Organize and oversee KOL participation in webinars, training sessions, conferences, and advisory meetings, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and organizational goals.
  • Strategic Communication: Facilitate meetings between KOLs and internal teams to share updates on clinical research, product developments, and training initiatives, driving alignment with Lumora’s objectives.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of KOL and clinic activities, conducting quarterly compliance reviews and internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission), and provide training on compliance protocols to clinic staff.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, clinical, and operations teams to integrate KOL expertise into educational content, strategic initiatives, and clinic operations.
  • Recognition & Follow-Up: Acknowledge KOL contributions through timely, professional communication, reinforcing their value to Lumora’s network.

Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-4 years in physician liaison, KOL management, or similar healthcare roles, with a proven track record of building professional relationships.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS) is a plus.

Travel: Willingness to travel quarterly to managed clinics (4-6 locations).

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Salary: $63,000-$73,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Bonus: Eligible for discretionary annual performance bonus targeting 10% of base salary.
