Position Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The PT will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent further injury. This role requires strong clinical expertise, patient-focused care, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients' physical conditions and movement impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to restore function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention and home exercises.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Certification: Active state licensure and CPR certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in clinical practice preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient care skills.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
