Location: Philadelphia, PA (Daytime Clinic-Based Pharmacy)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No nights | No weekends
Recruiter: Northwest Talent Solutions (on behalf of a healthcare client)

Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing healthcare organization launching an additional clinic-integrated pharmacy site in Philadelphia. We are seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) who wants to practice at the top of their license while maintaining a true work-life balance.

This is not a typical retail environment. You will work closely with providers and clinical teams, support chronic care patients, and help build a patient-centered pharmacy program within a medical setting.

Why This Role Is Different:

  • No retail late nights

  • No weekend shifts

  • Closed most federal holidays

  • Direct collaboration with physicians and clinic staff

  • Ability to influence patient outcomes — not just fill prescriptions

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge and oversee daily pharmacy operations

  • Counsel and educate patients regarding medications and therapies

  • Lead and develop pharmacy technicians and staff pharmacists

  • Collaborate with providers and clinical teams on treatment plans

  • Manage regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and patient safety

  • Maintain HIPAA and Fraud/Waste/Abuse compliance standards

  • Oversee inventory, workflow, and operational performance

  • Participate in clinical meetings and support care coordination

Required Qualifications:

  • PharmD (or BS in Pharmacy from accredited program)

  • Active pharmacist license (or ability to obtain in PA prior to start)

  • 3–5+ years retail pharmacy management experience

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Experience supervising pharmacy staff and operations

Preferred:

  • Experience in clinic-embedded or community health pharmacy

  • 340B program exposure

  • Immunization certification and vaccination administration

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Patient-education and chronic care management experience

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $135,000 – $145,000 annually

  • Full benefits package

  • Relocation assistance possible

  • Stable weekday schedule

Ideal Candidate:

You are a pharmacist who enjoys patient relationships, mentoring staff, and being part of a care team. You value compliance and operational excellence, but you also want meaningful clinical interaction and a predictable schedule.
