Pay: $18-$20/hour

Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team in providing top-notch orthodontic care to our patients. 

The scheduling coordinator plays a crucial role in Children's Dental Health practices. This position is primarily responsible for serving as an advocate and educator in creating treatment plans for orthodontic care and preparing/presenting financial arrangements. A successful treatment coordinator exhibits an efficient, knowledgeable, and positive countenance for every patient experience.

Schedule: Part-Time  Monday-Warrington 9AM-5PM, Thursday-Springfield 8AM-5PM and Friday-Springfield 8AM-5PM

Location: 2210 Shetland Drive Warrington, Pennsylvania 18976 United States 

Required travel to Springfield office ( Travel mileage reimbursement will be offered)  









Responsibilities






  • Conduct a consultation to understand a patient’s oral health history, objectives, and concerns 
  • Accurately chart all examination findings on behalf of the Doctor  
  • Work with the Doctor to diagnose and prepare treatment plans. Present treatment fees and discuss financial arrangements with patients 
  • Contact patients/parents to schedule treatment and/or discuss payment options for Medicaid approvals/denials, private insurance patients, and self-pay patients 
  • Notify patients of co-payments and co-payment requirements upon scheduling 
  • Conduct treatment consultations with existing patients when new treatment plans are presented 
  • Consistently and effectively follow-through with patient scheduling and appointments to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately and payment agreements are filled out correctly 
  • Assist clinical team, when available, by cleaning chairs, doing sterilization, seating patients, starting records or braces appointments 








Qualifications






  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in an Orthodontic setting preferred - familiarity with the treatment process a must 
  • Experience discussing treatment plans and financial matters with families 
  • Familiarity with Dolphin is a plus 
  • Experience working with various medical/dental insurance plans is a plus 
  • X-ray certification preferred
