Position Summary 

MCC’s Early Head Start program is seeking Lead Case Managers (Advocates) to maintain a caseload of EHS clients, while assisting with program development, coordination, and offering direct supervision to a small group of Advocates.  

Essential Functions 

  • Provides early-learning-focused and curriculum-based home visits to pregnant women and parents of infants and toddlers, and promotes the families' ability to support their child's development, health improvement, social empowerment and school readiness. 
  • Provides recommendations and guidance to the members of their team on all aspects of the EHS delivery of services.  
  • Conducts monthly individual reflective supervision meetings with the members of their team.  
  • Supervises and monitors their team’s attendance, schedules, completion of home visits and documentation on a monthly basis.  
  • Maintains a collaborative relationship with the members of their team, provides support as needed, and ensures confidentiality of their supervision process. 
  • Works collaboratively with Coordinators to encourage, monitor and ensure timely scheduling and completion of health and/or education related requirements and documentation.  
  • Debriefs their supervisor on their team’s progress during their monthly supervision.  
  • Maintains exemplary attendance and timely completion of documentation for their caseload.

Education & Experience Required

  • Infant & Toddler Home Visiting CDA or higher degree from an accredited college or university in a related
    field of study 
  • Experienced in all EHS related service areas, performance standards, program options, service delivery guidelines, resources and documentation of client data.
