Position Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Behavioral Medicine team. This is a patient-facing role in an inpatient setting, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality psychiatric and medical nursing care to adult patients
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and update treatment plans
Document patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
Supervise and support Mental Health Workers during shifts
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current Pennsylvania LPN license (required)
Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
1+ year of nursing experience preferred; behavioral health or substance use treatment experience a plus
Strong communication, teamwork, and crisis management skills
