Temple University Hospital is a nationally respected teaching hospital on Temple University's bustling Health Sciences Center campus. The hospital provides a comprehensive array of healthcare services both basic and complex to patients from around the corner, across the country and around the world.  As the chief clinical training site for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, the hospital provides a dynamic environment for high-quality care, teaching, and cutting edge research.

 


The Trauma Victim Support Advocates (TVSA) program is Temple University Hospital's 24-hour hospital-based response to violence. The Case Manager will be responsible for conducting intakes with violently-injured patients and overseeing the coordination of the social and emotional support services they receive. The Case Manager will perform these responsibilities in both clinical and outpatient settings and will work closely with the TVSA staff and other trauma team members to provide trauma-informed and patient-centered care to support violently-injured individuals in the days, weeks, and months following their victimizations.

Education
Bachelors Degree \: in Social Work or related field (Required)

Experience
2 Years experience in managing a case load in relevant social services field (Required)
General experience working with victims of violence and/or justice system-involved individuals (Required)
General experience and knowledge of Philadelphia communities and organizations (Preferred)
