How you will help


As Client Success Project Manager, you are a passionate and collaborative leader to managing and delivering complex software and data projects that are crucial to our business. You will create detailed project plans, guide teams, monitor progress, and communicate status, risks, and issues to the client ensuring project success. You'll use the best methodologies and tools to communicate objectives and progress clearly, and you'll motivate and support both employees and clients to achieve projects on time, within budget, and aligned with our strategy. You will play a vital role in supporting our PMO and fostering a culture of accountability and success.


 


What you will do



  • Guide client focused software and data delivery projects through the implementation of structured processes and stages, ensuring successful completion for internal and client deployments

  • Meticulously track the details of client deliveries and work successfully with the client to ensure success

  • Manage projects using traditional project methodologies, acting as a supportive advocate for project success 

  • Monitor and manage all risks and issues, providing timely and accurate project reporting proactively meeting the client needs  

  • Facilitate communication and workflow (design, status, risks/issues, change management) across all key internal and client areas  

  • Follow all PMO processes and guidelines, while helping to enhance and promote them

  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables

  • Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, flexibility, and positive results


 


How success is defined



  • Effectively manage projects and teams to support swift revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery of data and software

  • Build and nurture highly productive client, project team, and cross-team relationships by actively facilitating communication and activities that ensure seamless handoffs and customer delight

  • Aggregate and report project information in a way that enhances decision-making and increases project success

  • Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to provide transparency and enable quick resolution

  • Encourage increased team performance by coaching, removing obstacles, and implementing improvements, especially in relation to speed to revenue and customer satisfaction


 


Required skills and experience



  • A demonstrable commitment to completing a recognized project management certification curriculum  (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification)

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software project and process management, with 5+ years in client technical/delivery leadership

  • Skilled in managing client projects and processes throughout their lifecycle, including planning, progress management, work estimation, task management, reporting, risk, issue, and change management.

  • Proficient in project management methodologies, tools (MS Project, Smart Sheets, Jira, Confluence), and techniques (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, Kanban), and able to lead various meeting types and ceremonies

  • Experience managing large, complex software client delivery projects and/or multi-team programs

  • Excellent client facing experience balancing client expectations with the realities of project constraints

  • Able to work independently to manage process and project deliverables across teams, ensuring successful completion using critical path, alternate scenario, and remediation/mitigation techniques

  • Proven ability to adjust and positively react to the changing progress and priorities of technical deliveries


 


Desired skills and experience



  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Additional certifications project and process management certifications may be required for certain roles

  • Committed to ongoing project management learning

  • Experience working in a PMO


Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $65,000 - 130,000 + annual bonus opportunity.


 

 

Hiring Locations

We prioritize hiring team members from the Philadelphia area whenever possible, as our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required two days a week. However, for certain roles, we’re also open to hiring from our hub locations, where we have groups of remote workers. Please note that, due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states, but remote work is supported in the following key hubs and approved states:
