Job Description

Einstein Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our Division of Cardiology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (CCEP) with expertise in atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia ablation, as well as training in lead extraction.

Position Highlights:

  • Focusing primarily on diagnosis and treatment of rhythm disorders of the heart
  • Evaluating abnormal test results obtained by invasive and non invasive testing
  • Determining diagnosis and creating treatment plan, possibly involving antiarrhythmic drug therapy, implantable devices or ablation therapy
  • Utilizing extensive knowledge of non-invasive and invasive cardiac testing
  • Administering medication to patient to alter heart function and assess its abilities under different conditions
  • Will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Will have resident and fellow teaching responsibilities

Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Board certified/eligible in Cardiology and CCEP
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
