Job Summary

Drexel University’s renowned Psychological Services Training Center, a nationally recognized award-winning training clinic that is part of our Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology, has openings for one specialty area supervisor in the area of Psychological Assessment. The Supervisor will be the leader of the specialty area track within our larger clinic and will hold adjunct appointments within the Department of Psychology. They will oversee a team of doctoral level trainees and will interface with the trainees, center staff and management personnel, and clients.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise of 3-5 Doctoral-level trainees and all administrative and patient care tasks associated with such supervision.
  • Provide weekly supervision of students, including individual and group supervision meetings. Remote access to recordings and records for review would be provided.
  • Attend staff meetings and help trainees prepare and execute their team's end-of-term presentation.
  • Meet students by phone and provide guidance as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of PhD or Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA (American Psychological Association) accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, including completion of an APA-accredited internship.
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania and/or ability to acquire required PAEBC clearances.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work with child, adolescent and adult populations and operate from an evidence-based perspective.
  • Experience with the section of appropriate measures and/or test batteries for a variety of referral questions.
  • Supervise writing high quality integrated reports.

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time casual position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
